Prep Cook

  • Adhere to and maintain operational standards and guidelines, including food quality and safety, individual/team safety, cleanliness and sanitation

  • Properly use and operate equipment and utensils including, not limited to, 3-compartment sink, knives and dishwasher

  • Checks food quality and temperatures throughout the day to maintain Health and Safety regulations

  • Appropriately mark, wrap, store and bag products for use/storage

  • Work alongside fellow kitchen crew, including line cooks, dishwashers and prep cooks to meet daily goals

  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures

  • Maintain a good relationship with all team members

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Must possess basic math skills

  • Must be able to read, communicate and understand english

  • Must be able to multitask

  • 1-2 years experience working in a restaurant, retail or hospitality setting preferred, but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time on hard surfaces

  • Must be able to lift objects up to 50lbs

  • Must be able to move in tight spaces

  • Must be able to work in an environment that may contain dust, fumes and/or sanitation chemicals

  • Must be able to withstand very cold/warm temperatures
